2004 Toyota Tacoma

I made this painting for Jon's birthday, of his recently retired (in March) '04 Toyota Tacoma truck that he drove for 12 years. I knew he likes his new truck (a 2013) but there is a special place in his heart for this little black pickup, which rarely caused any trouble and carried many materials and cabinet projects to their destinations. It had a cap, but looked more free without it, so that's how I painted it- loose and easy, with just enough details to describe its particular look (like the front grille). 12"x16" acrylic on canvas.
